We are currently having a set-back with downloading our pictures from our new camera, so I will have to post the pics later once we have that all figured out.

We all enjoyed a wonderful Christmas together, although we did miss our families terribly. It is always such a blessing to be all together, making things much more festive. However, over the past 4 1/2 years that we have been out here in CA, we have learned to make the best of the holidays, therefore creating many of our own little traditions. Funny, one of them happens to be grilling seafood outside for Christmas dinner. We have thoroughly enjoyed the warmer weather this time of year. (as I write this today, the high is 69!!)
We had such a fun time Christmas morning, both boys completely on top of unwrapping their own gifts and exhibiting sheer excitement as each gift is unwrapped.
The day after Christmas, we were able to go to a local park and try out some of the cool toys Sam & Ethan received. Again, we are so spoiled with nice weather to be able to do that the day after Christmas! : )

New Year's Eve was celebrated after Sam & Ethan were tucked into bed. Greg & I hosted a little celebration here for all the Oral Surgery residents & their wives. It was a fun evening, but I had to laugh as all of us were yawning just after the ball dropped. Most of the residents all have small children, and as we all know, sleep to a parent of young children is much needed!! : )

As we are already in the second week of 2009, our minds have definitely begun to start to think about the end of June. Greg is now chief resident and has been working incredibly long hours. He graduates at the end of June, and then we will be moving to wherever God has us relocate to. We are very excited to see what He has in store for our family. We will find out sometime in March where our new home will be and will let you all know.
