What was I thinking?

I clearly was wrong in my thinking. I had this idea that as my children got older, I would have more time on my hands to do things like organizing pictures in photo albums, get back into card-making, and even updating our blog....so wrong. Now I completely understand why most parents hand their adult children a shoe box of unorganized photos that they want to pass along. I always thought that will never be me, I will have all our children's albums organized with dates on the back of pictures. So wrong! I am learning to go with the flow. A type A, perfectionist, is learning to go with the flow! God is definitely teaching me to stretch and grow. :)

Well, after looking back through the pictures we had on our camera, I will definitely have to summarize a few highlights from the past 6 months.
In March the boys got to go to a Disney Princess & Pirate Breakfast with a few of their friends. They were really excited to dress up and play the part.

In May, the boys got to try out crabbing. It was a whole day event. Greg took the boys to go buy the crab traps, buy bait, and we all set out to see what we could catch. The boys really had to learn patience as we had to sit and wait for quite some time. We finally caught one lonely little blue crab, but it was a great learning experience. We brought our catch home and cooked him (actually, it was a "her") up, and this was Sam and Ethan's first taste of crab.

More catching up to come....
